Becky Budds is an account executive at Anna Stallmann Communications in Charlotte, NC. Before her career in public relations, she worked as a multimedia journalist at WLTX in Columbia, South Carolina, where she covered a wide range of stories, including local news and state politics. During her time as a journalist, she witnessed firsthand the challenges children in rural communities face, sparking her passion for education reporting and advocacy.

Originally from Naperville, IL, Becky earned her degree in journalism and public relations from DePaul University. Her work has been recognized with several honors, including the DePaul Journalism Award, a scholarship from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences Midwest Chapter, and a resolution from the South Carolina House of Representatives for her coverage of the state legislature.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys fitness, reading, and baking. She is dedicated to using her storytelling and communication skills to raise awareness for important issues and make a meaningful impact in her community.
